Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- The International Monetary Fund welcomed New Democracy’s support for the “key objectives and policies” of Greece’s economic reform program, according to an e-mailed statement.

The IMF also welcomed that the country’s second-biggest parliamentary party has “committed to ensuring that any changes to policies that it might suggest will be consistent with the basic framework of this program,” according to the statement.
