Nov. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Banco Bradesco SA said it placed its rating on Lupatech SA “under review” while it awaits more details about a possible plan by Brazilian state development bank BNDES to aid the company.
“BNDES is working with Lupatech to solve the company’s liquidity problems,” Bradesco analysts led by Auro Rozenbaum wrote in a note to clients today. Bradesco estimates that Lupatech needs about 100 million reais, plus an additional 150 million reais from divestures by the first quarter of 2012.
