Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Vietnam, the fourth-biggest rubber exporter in 2010, may ship 100,000 tons this month, according to figures today from the General Statistics Office in Hanoi, 12 percent more than in the same period last year.
The nation shipped 62,000 metric tons in October, down 23 percent from a previous assessment of 80,000 tons, figures from the Statistics Office show. Exports in the first eleven months of 2011 were estimated at 691,000 tons, up 1.4 percent from a year earlier.
Vietnam exported 89,000 tons in November last year according to preliminary GSO data.
