India’s Sensex Rebounds, Gains 0.2% in Mumbai; Jaiprakash Leads

Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Indian stocks erased losses, with the BSE India Sensitive Index, or Sensex, gaining 0.2 percent to 15,728.29 at 2:47 p.m. in Mumbai. The gauge dropped as much as 1.4 percent earlier.

Jaiprakash Associates Ltd., a builder of dams, roads and bridges, added 1.5 percent. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s largest maker of sport-utility vehicles and tractors, advanced 2.2 percent. Reliance Industries Ltd., the most valuable company, lost 1.4 percent.
