Nov. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Microsoft Corp. bought VideoSurf Inc., an online video search engine, and plans to integrate the technology in its Xbox game system.
VideoSurf, created in 2006 and based in San Mateo, California, makes discovery of Internet content faster amd more accurate, the companies said today in a statement. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
The acquisition price was $70 million, the financial daily Calcalist said earlier, without saying where it got the information.
