Nov. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Kimon Volikas, managing director of Alpha Asset Management, a unit of Greece’s Alpha Bank SA, was today elected president of the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association.
Phaidon Tamvakakis, managing director of Alpha Trust Investment Services SA, and Theodoros Krintas, managing director of Attica Wealth Management, a unit of Attica Bank SA, were both elected vice presidents, the Athens-based body said in an e- mailed statement today.
Volikas replaces Aris Xenofos, who resigned both as president of the association and as managing director of EFG Eurobank Mutual Fund Management Co.
The total value of assets managed by the association’s 35 members, including real-estate and closed-end funds, declined to 9.6 billion euros ($13 billion) on Sept. 30, from 11.1 billion euros on June 30, the body said Oct. 13.
