Delta Says Labor Board Rejects Attendants’ Interference Claims

November 23, 2011

Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Delta Air Lines Inc. said the National Mediation Board rejected claims of election interference by the Association of Flight Attendants, so the union’s defeat last year will stand.

The ruling by the three-member panel allows Atlanta-based Delta to proceed with integrating 20,000 attendants under common work rules and pay scales following the company’s 2008 purchase of Northwest Airlines, according to an e-mailed statement today.
