Nov. 23 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Chilean trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Santiago.
The Ipsa index fell 2.7 percent to 4,016.42. The MSCI Chile index retreated 3.9 percent to 2,143.98.
Banco Santander Chile (BSAN CC), Chile’s largest lender, dropped 2.2 percent to 32.05 pesos. The unit of Spain’s Banco Santander SA has lost 11 percent in the two days since the controller disclosed plans to sell a 7.8 percent stake.
Multiexport Foods SA (MULTIFOO CC) fell 5.2 percent to 135.33 pesos, leading losses among members of the Ipsa benchmark index. The salmon exporter reported an 18 percent drop in third- quarter profit to $3.87 million from $4.72 million.
Parque Arauco SA (PARAUCO CC) retreated 2.7 percent to 873.37 pesos. The Chilean shopping center developer and operator reported a 5 percent fall in quarterly profit to 8.42 billion pesos ($16 million).
