Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Australian government bonds rallied, sending the benchmark 10-year yield to a record low, as concern of contagion from the European debt crisis pushed investors into the safety of government debt.
The yield on the 10-year note fell as much as 10 basis points to 3.806 percent, before standing at 3.82 percent as of 8:43 a.m. in Sydney. The three-year yield fell 8.5 basis points to 2.98 percent.
