TAV to Invest 250 Million Euros to Expand Izmir Airport Terminal

Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- TAV Havalimanlari Holding AS, Turkey’s biggest airport operator, will invest about 250 million euros to build a new terminal at Izmir airport in the west of the country, after placing a winning bid of 610 million euros for operating rights until end-2032 in an auction yesterday.

TAV will expand the area of the domestic passenger terminal at Izmir airport to 204,500 square meters from 28,500 square meters by 2015, it said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange after the market closed yesterday.
