Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Mexico trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close of trading.
The IPC index fell 1.6 percent to 36,110.68.
Mexican stocks followed U.S. equities lower as concern grew that Europe’s debt crisis will worsen and lawmakers will fail to agree on plans to cut the American deficit.
Cemex SAB (CEMEXCPO MM), the largest cement maker in the Americas, dropped 3.3 percent to 5.95 pesos. Desarrolladora Homex SAB (HOMEX* MM), Mexico’s largest homebuilder, sank 2.9 percent to 30.70 pesos.
Grupo Mexico SAB (GMEXICOB MM), the country’s largest mining company, fell 3.1 percent to 36.54 pesos. Copper futures for December delivery declined as much as 3.7 percent in New York.
