November 17, 2011

Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Uganda may approve Tullow Oil Plc’s $2.9 billion sale of its prospects in the East African nation to France’s Total SA and CNOOC Ltd. within the next month, said Peter Lokeris, the minister of state for mineral development.

“I think it will be in a month or so,” he said today by phone from Kampala, the capital, when asked when the deal will be concluded. “It will not go beyond January.”
