Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Deutsche Bank AG said it hired Taisuke Tanaka, a former chief currency strategist at Nomura Securities Co.
Tanaka was appointed as chief foreign-exchange strategist and head of fixed income research, Deutsche’s brokerage unit in Tokyo said in a statement dated Nov. 15 on its website.
Tanaka was chosen as the top currency analyst for a second- straight year in 2011 in a survey of institutional investors by Nikkei Veritas. He joined Nomura in November 2008 as chief foreign-exchange strategist and was promoted to global macro research officer in June.
