Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Poland’s Treasury selected two bidders for further talks on buying 85 percent of two lignite mines, KWB Konin SA and KWB Adamow SA, the ministry said in a statement on its website yesterday.
The bidders, Zespol Elektrowni PAK SA, the power utility controlled by Polish billionaire Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, and Spolem Plus Sp z o.o., have until Jan. 27 to place binding bids, the ministry said.
