Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- The euro extended its decline against its Japanese counterpart, falling 0.4 percent to 103.87 yen at 10:45 a.m. London time. It was 0.3 percent lower at $1.3497.
The common currency weakened by as much as 0.8 percent earlier, before rebounding amid speculation the European Central Bank bought Spanish and Italian bonds.
