CPC Plans to Shut Naphtha Cracker in December, ICIS Says

November 16, 2011

Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- CPC Corp. plans to shut its No. 4 naphtha cracker in Linyuan, Taiwan, for maintenance Dec. 10 instead of in February as originally planned, ICIS reported, citing a company official it didn’t identify.

CPC decided to shut the plant earlier than planned because of a “bearish market,” ICIS said.
