Nov. 15 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 4:10 p.m. New York time.
The Lima General Index rose 0.1 percent to 19,359.25. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index declined 0.5 percent to 2,580.96.
Industrial and mining stocks gained as U.S. stocks rebounded and metals advanced in New York, said Jose Avendano, a trader at SAB Kallpa Securities.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian exploration company, rose 4.5 percent to $1.40. Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO PE), a Canadian gold exploration company, gained 1.4 percent to $2.89. Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO PE), Peru’s biggest copper producer, climbed 1 percent to $31.50. Luz del Sur (LUSURC1 PE), Peru’s largest electricity distributor, advanced 1 percent to 6.35 soles. Casa Grande (CASAGRC1 PE), Peru’s largest sugar producer, rose 0.7 percent to 14 soles as futures gained in New York.
