GM Appoints Paddock as India President; Slym to Move to China

Nov. 15 (Bloomberg) -- General Motors Co. appointed Lowell Paddock as president and managing director of its India operations, effective Jan. 1, 2012.

Paddock will take over from Karl Slym, who will move to China as executive vice president of SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., according to an e-mailed statement by the Detroit-based automaker today.
