Nov. 13 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama told leaders of the Asia-Pacific region that growth of their economies is “absolutely critical” to the future prosperity of the U.S.
Obama said as he opened a meeting of the 21-member Asia- Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Hawaii that creation of a seamless regional economy is key to his goal of doubling U.S. exports and creating jobs.
“The Asia Pacific region is absolutely critical to America’s economic growth, we consider it a top priority,” Obama said.
