Italy’s Napolitano Says Broad Coalition in Interest of Country

Nov. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Italian President Giorgio Napolitano said a broad coalition is in the country’s interest and he’s confident a new government can be formed this week.

Napolitano, speaking in Rome, said elections could threaten debt redemptions and called Mario Monti “independent,” saying he would be untainted by politics
