Goldman Sachs Lifts Forecast for N.Z. Dollar Over Next 12 Months

Nov. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc. lifted its forecasts for New Zeland’s nation’s currency, according an e- mailed report from economist Philip Borkin.

Goldman Sachs’s New Zealand unit forecast the country’s dollar would be at 77 U.S. cents in three months, compared with a previous projection of 74 cents. The six-month forecast for the so-called kiwi was raised to 80 cents from 78 cents, while the 12-month view was lifted to 84 cents from 82 cents.
