Crude Oil Trades Near Highest Since July on Middle East, Europe

Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Oil traded near the highest in more than three months in New York on concern political tension in the Middle East will worsen and signs that new governments in Italy and Greece may increase Europe’s ability to contain its debt crisis.

Crude for December delivery was at $99.04 a barrel, up 5 cents, in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 9:23 a.m. Singapore time. The contract earlier climbed as much as 70 cents to $99.69 a barrel.
