Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Olympus Corp. said it’s likely to miss a Nov. 14 deadline for the release of its first-half earnings and will instead aim to give the figures by Dec. 14.

The Japanese maker of cameras and endoscopes said it aims to give its earnings after it receives an independent committee report in early December, according to a statement to the Tokyo Stock Exchange today. Olympus said it’s likely it will be placed on Tokyo Stock Exchange’s so-called watchlist for review of possible delisting.

Olympus must report its earnings by Nov. 14 under Japan’s Financial Instruments and Exchange Law.
