Indonesia Supports Local Tin Market Development, Ministry Says

Nov. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Indonesia’s government supports a plan to set up a local tin market, Deddy Saleh, director general of foreign trade at the Trade Ministry, said.

The government also supports a voluntary tin-supply arrangement by the industry’s association to boost prices, Saleh said in interview after meeting with Bangka Belitung Governor Eko Maulana Ali and Indonesia Tin Association Executive Chairman Rudy Irawan in Jakarta today.
