Hong Kong’s Donald Tsang Sees ‘50-50 Chance’ of World Recession

Nov. 7 (Bloomberg) -- There’s a “50-50 chance” of a global recession in the coming year, especially in the next two quarters, Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang said at an event in New York today.

Tsang said the city’s inflation isn’t caused by the local currency’s link to the U.S. dollar, and is instead a “global phenomenon.”
