Nov. 4 (Bloomberg) -- The size of the task facing Greece is beyond that of one party and lawmakers from the ruling Pasok party have been carrying the burden, Greek Prime Minister George Papandrou said.
“The changes that we are making to the country are historic and need the participation of citizens,” Papandreou told lawmakers in parliament before a confidence vote in comments televised live on state-run Vouli TV. “Markets exist but first and foremost people exist.”
