Nov. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Oil and gas shipments through the French port of Marseille Fos rose by 6 percent in the year’s first nine months compared with the same period last year, the port authority said.
Cargoes rose to 44.8 million metric tons, led by a 35 percent climb in liquefied natural gas shipments to 5.3 million tons and 30 percent growth in liquefied petroleum gas to 1.6 million tons, the authority said today by e-mail. Crude oil imports slid 2 percent to 21.6 million tons and dry bulk cargoes fell 18 percent to 7.3 million tons, according to the authority.
