Vietnam to Probe Currency Trading Violations at Foreign Banks

Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Vietnam’s central bank said it will begin a probe into currency trading at some foreign banks for violations of the dong trading band set by the monetary regulator, according to a statement posted on its website.

Banks are allowed to trade the dong up to 1 percent on either side of a daily reference rate set by the regulator.
