TAIWAN DAYBOOK: President, FamilyMart Fined for Price-Fixing

Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- President Chain Store Corp. and Taiwan FamilyMart Co. were among four convenience-shop operators fined by Taiwan’s Fair Trade Commission for fixing the price of freshly brewed coffee.

President Chain, which operates 7-Eleven outlets, was fined NT$16 million, Taiwan FamilyMart NT$2.5 million, HiLife NT$1 million, and OK.Mart NT$500,000, the commission said.
