Manila Electric Says Profit Rose 25% to 9.95 Billion Pesos

Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Manila Electric Co., the Philippines’ largest power retailer by sales, said profit rose 25 percent to 9.95 billion pesos in the first nine months of the year.

So-called core income increased 27 percent to 11.7 billion pesos, the company also known as Meralco said on its website. site. Sales in the January to September period increased to 192.9 billion pesos from 188.5 billion pesos a year earlier, it said.
