Argentina Subsidy Cuts to Aid Inflation Flight: Credit Suisse

Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Argentina’s decision to eliminate some utility subsidies is “very positive news” and should help contain spending growth and fight inflation, Credit Suisse Group AG analyst Carola Sandy said in an e-mailed report.

“This is a relatively small amount -- just 0.1 percent of GDP -- but we think it is an important signal from the government,” Sandy wrote.
