Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Ternium SA, Latin America’s second largest steelmaker, releases its third-quarter earnings report before markets open.
Argentina’s President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner arrives in Cannes, France to attend the Group of 20 nations summit.
WHAT TO WATCH:
* Ternium SA holds a conference call with investors to discuss third-quarter earnings at 11 a.m. Buenos Aires time.
* Argentina’s tax revenue rose 32 percent in October from a year earlier to 47.6 billion pesos ($11 billion), the country’s tax agency said last night.
* The Merval Index dropped 4.9 percent to 2,762.03 yesterday, led by a 9.8 percent decline of Siderar SAIC.
* The peso was little changed at 4.2373 per U.S. dollar. The currency has weakened 6.1 percent against the dollar this year.
