Nov. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou will proceed with plans for a referendum on the Greek financing package, government spokesman Angelos Tolkas said in statements televised live on state-run NET TV.
Tolkas said Papandreou would win a parliamentary confidence vote planned for later this week. He said both votes were presently being discussed at a Cabinet meeting in Athens today.
