Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos suppported Prime Minister George Papandreou in his decision to put Greece’s new financing from international partners to a referendum, in comments carried live on Athens- based Antenna TV.
“This will provide a catharsis to our drama,” Venizelos said. “The referendum will give Greeks a chance to express themselves.” He said the referendum will be held after details of the Oct. agreement are finalised.
