Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Billionaire Oleg Deripaska’s Basic Element plans to sign an agreement with China’s Changi Airports. OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel may report the results of its buyback program. Etalon Group reports third-quarter operating results.

EQUITY MOVERS: *Etalon Group Ltd. plans to publish third-quarter operating results after 11 a.m. *Norilsk Nickel, Russia’s largest mining company, may announce
MARKETS: *The 30-stock Micex Index rose 0.1 percent to 1,526.57, and the dollar-denominated RTS Index added 1.1 percent to 1,610.32. *Russia’s benchmark 2018 ruble Eurobond was little changed with the yield rising one basis point to 7.031. *The ruble strengthened 0.9 percent versus the dollar to 29.6950 and 0.6 percent versus the euro to 42.1425. *The MSCI Emerging Markets Index fell 0.7 percent to 1,002.74 at 8:56 a.m. *Crude for December delivery fell 1 percent to $92.37 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. *Brent crude declined 0.9 percent to $108.97 a barrel on the ICE Futures Europe exchange in London. *Gold for immediate delivery dropped 1.7 percent to $1,713.70 an ounce.
