Qantas Says Flights Resume After Fleet Grounded Amid Dispute

Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Qantas Airways Ltd. said it has resumed flights after grounding its fleet amid a dispute with labor unions.

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority cleared the nation’s largest carrier to resume services, a spokeswoman for Qantas said by telephone today.

The first flight departed from Sydney for Jakarta carrying 88 passengers shortly after 3:40 p.m. local time today, she said.
