Greek Nine-Month State Budget Shortfall Widens 15 Percent

Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Greece’s state budget deficit widened to 19.2 billion euros in the January to end-September period from 16.7 billion euros a year earlier, according to an e-mailed statement from the Athens-based Finance Ministry today. The figures are in line with preliminary figures released on Oct. 12.
