Oct. 28 (Bloomberg) -- The European Commission said its proposals to lessen the EU’s reliance on credit ratings companies would also include measures on their civil liability “in cases of gross malpractice or negligence.”

The proposals will be published on Nov. 15, the Brussels- based commission said on its website today.
