Oct. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Bangkok.
The SET Index rose 1.4 percent to 973.18, the highest close since Sept. 22. The benchmark index rallied 6.2 percent this week, the biggest advance since June 2009.
Phatra Securities Pcl (PHATRA TB) surged 6.7 percent to 27.75 baht, the highest close since Sept. 27. Profit rose 9.6 percent to 318.6 million baht in the third quarter on higher fee income and derivatives-trading gains, the stock brokerage said in a regulatory filing.
Pruksa Real Estate Pcl (PS TB) lost 1.8 percent to 10.90 baht after the property developer was cut to “hold” from “buy” at Thanachart Securities Public Co.
Thai Tap Water Supply Pcl (TTW TB) advanced 1.2 percent to 4.92 baht. Net income climbed 8.7 percent to 553.3 million baht in the third quarter after revenue increased, the water supplier said yesterday in a regulatory filing.
