Oct. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Novozymes A/S, the world’s largest maker of industrial enzymes, reported third-quarter net income of 518 million kroner, beating the 460 million-krone average estimate in a Bloomberg survey of nine analysts.
Novozymes had net income of 439 million kroner in the third quarter of 2010. The Bagsvaerd, Denmark-based company published its earnings report in stock-exchange statement today.
Novozymes also raised the bottom end of its full-year net profit growth forecast range. The company said it now expects net profit growth of 11 percent to 13 percent compared with 10 percent to 13 percent previously.
