‘Fairly Small Number’ of Banks to Need State Help for EBA Goal

Oct. 28 (Bloomberg) -- A “fairly small number” of banks is likely to need government support to reach the European Banking Authority’s 106 billion euro target for capital, said Christian Clausen, president of the European Banking Federation and chief executive officer of Nordea Bank AB. He made the comments in Brussels today.
