Papandreou Hopes EU Summit Decisions Are Enough to Calm Markets

October 27, 2011

“The negotiations were long and difficult,” Papandreou told Greek President Karolos Papoulias in statements televised live on state-run NET TV. “We managed to lift a big burden of debt which was carried by the middle-class,” he said.
