Caixa Geral Says Estimates Capital Needs at 2.2 Billion Euros

Oct. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Caixa Geral de Depositos SA, a state-owned Portuguese bank, said it would need 2.2 billion euros to meet new capital requirements.

Part of that amount is included in capitalization plans that the bank has already presented to the Bank of Portugal, Lisbon-based Caixa Geral said today in a regualatory filing.
