Oct. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Axa SA, Europe’s second-largest insurer, said nine-month sales fell 4.8 percent on lower revenue at its life and savings unit.
Sales dropped to 65.9 billion euros from 69.3 billion euros a year earlier, the Paris-based company said today in an e- mailed statement.
“We are in line with our strategic plan,” Chief Financial Officer Gerald Harlin said on a conference call with reporters.
