Oct. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Treasuries gave up an earlier gain after after a European official said euro-area leaders are close to approving an agreement with banks on a 50 percent writedown of Greek debt.
Benchmark 10-year Treasury yields were little changed at 2.20 percent at 10:38 a.m. in Tokyo after earlier dropping 2 basis points to 2.18 percent.
