Schaeuble Faces Legal Battle Over Student Tax Relief, FTD Says

Oct. 26 (Bloomberg) -- German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble faces a legal battle over plans to limit tax relief for students and trainees, the Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing Michael Wendt, spokesman for the Federal Fiscal Court.

A bill drawn up by Schaeuble’s ministry seeking to narrow the fallout on tax revenue by the move will land in court, Wendt is cited as saying.
