Oct. 26 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 4:10 p.m. New York time.
The Lima General Index rose 0.2 percent to 19,342.14. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 1.2 percent to 2,570.94.
Mining stocks gained after copper and zinc advanced in New York and London, said Omar Delgado, a trader at Lima-based Juan Magot y Asociados SAB.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, rose 4.8 percent to 44 cents. Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian exploration company, gained for a fifth session, adding 3.5 percent to $1.17. Sociedad Minera El Brocal SAA (BROCALC1 PE), a zinc and lead producer, climbed 3.5 percent to 44 soles after third-quarter net income jumped 64 percent to $24.2 million. Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO PE), Peru’s biggest copper producer, advanced 3 percent to $29.89. Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde SA (CVERDEC1 PE), a unit of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., rose 1.1 percent to $36.40.
