Olympus to Make Regaining Trust Its Priority, New President Says

Oct. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Olympus Corp. President Shuichi Takayama said regaining trust will be the company’s priority as it forms an investigative committee following allegations the company may have mishandled acquisitions.

“My task is to regain trust from our stakeholders,” Takayama told reporters in Tokyo today. “I promise you to disclose all the information we get right away as we plan to set up the third-party investigative committee soon.”
