New Zealand Posts NZ$751 Million Trade Deficit in September

Oct. 27 (Bloomberg) -- New Zealand’s trade deficit was NZ$751 million ($600 million) in September, with exports of NZ$3.44 billion and imports of NZ$4.19 billion, the government statistics agency said today in Wellington.

The median estimate in a Bloomberg News survey of 10 economists was for a shortfall last month of NZ$440 million.
