Merkel Says All Officials Want to ‘Make Good Progress’ Today

Oct. 26 (Bloomberg) -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she hopes to “make good progress” at a summit today on the euro debt crisis. “Today is an important summit. We still have to solve a whole row of problems and negotiations to do,” Merkel told reporters as she arrived in Brussels. “Work’s not been done yet, but everyone’s coming here today with the goal to progress quite a bit.”
